In 1999 I spent a summer studying seabirds on a remote island off of the Pacific coast of Washington state. I didn't have a video camera at the time and I was dying to come back and film some day. In the summer of 2003 I had the chance to return and spent a week filming on the island. This is a timelapse I filmed at sunrise looking back towards the mainland. In the early morning the island is shrouded in fog. The grass is soaked with the morning dew and everything drips until the day warms and the moisture burns away.
